So far have found no indication as to where this positive lead is supposed to hook up to. If you need any assistance with deciphering splice, connector, and terminal terminology and/or locations or they just aren't clear enough to read off the schematic, let me know and I'll be happy to try and help.Have already found this diagram, and there is no junction box in my vehicle, plus it has no information on where exactly the yellow 10 gauge primary wire with woefully inadequate inline bus fuse goes to. I do wish you patience in attempting to trace/track wiring and some good luck. The best I can offer for now is a 91 FSM headlight system schematic in case you don't already have one.Įven if you are able to restore the system to it's correct configuration, you may then have to dig in order to identify the original fault that caused someone to alter the system in the first place. The only thing worse than trying to figure out a molested system is trying to figure out an inoperative molested system. Myredvert wrote:I feel for you on this one. I am really needing to get this car working enough to pass inspection. Also noticed a white wire going to the back of the fuse box that was cut, and can't find any answers on what any wires going to the back of the fusebox do or where they lead. No wiring diagrams on the forums have helped narrow down the problem. I have scoured the forums looking for answers but found none. Including a yellow wire with an inline fuse coming from the positive battery terminal which goes nowhere. The previous owner tried rewiring the lights, but did a piss poor job at it, and because of that, there are wires that don't seem to go anywhere. (And this model has no daytime running lights as far as I can tell.) However, the low and high beams don't work, nor does the instrument backlight in the dash. The tail lights work, running lights work, turn signals, and hazards all work. Had to buy a switch cluster off eBay as there were no headlight buttons. Rerouted the burned ground that connects to the fuse box by the clutch. Been working on it to get it to pass inspection. So I recently purchased a 1991 Geo Metro, 4 door hatchback, 3 cylinder 5 speed.
